Can I be the first to thank you for the introduction to this record.
As you say nice & mellow for a Sunday morning or late night listen just like I like my jazz more & more these days.
I thought "Day by Day" was going to be the vocal version by Greetje that I already have on the Mojo Club Vol 8 compilation but no -its a really mellow alternative version of a great tune.(in the right hands.)

many times i have seen them live at their own sheherazade club in amsterdam, where they played every weekend.during the week sometimes the club was taken over by likes of the dutch beat combo The Outsiders
