Michael Cochrane, Piano; Tom Harrell, Trumpet ; Bob Malach, Tenor Saxophone, Flute; Dennis Irwin, Bass; James Madison, Drums
What a cracker - dont let anyone tell you that the 80s were a total wasteland for jazz.
Chock full of Modal, Waltz, Bossa, Bop, Jazz Dancers .... it's all here and it's all good !

I had the chance to meet Michael recently through my school. He is a super swell guy, and he talked to me for awhile. I know he played with Hannibal a lot, and so it was neat to meet one of those seemingly far-distant jazzmen.
Thanks for this.
Thanks for this Bacoso. It is a great little album.
thanks for this one!!
Of course the 80s weren't a wasteland - there was so much jazz fusion coming out of Japan ONLY KIDDING
Looking forward to it. You seem in a modal-bop mood recently. All good.
"Proof of the Pudding" was the tune back in the day remember that little tit g.Peterson spinning it out.
Shame he plays such a crock of crap now!

Mr. Bacoso, I am very curious as to what program you use to rip vinyl. I would like to begin ripping my collection.
Excellent Jazz! Inspiring, uplifting and sophisticated as it should be. Thank you very much! (Listened to it 3 times already.)
