Beautiful! Very Hubert Law-esque... Tranquil + Tzigane are absolutely genius.
Thank you very much!
Nice One! As always, I love how you find these recordings. I'm digging the tuba!
Great,thanks
Awesome, loved that last Lloyd McNeill you posted and really looking forward to checking this out. And Howard Johnson YES
delicious, thank you
Hey Bacoso, thanks for this super share.
I'm with Holden on the standouts being Tranquil & Tzigane. O Mercado & Sambinha are good too but I don't find McNeill's as strong on those. The band's definitely tight throughout and now I've added "Asha" to my mental list of albums to check out. Thanks much Bacoso!
Just discovered this blog. Fantastic! I need more hours in the day now!
Great stuff, love 'tzigane', thanks :)
thank you for this one!
great blog!
Thanks! Howard Johnson is the mango -- I used to play in a band with his daughter who is a baddazz musician herself.

Thanks so much for the Lloyd McNeill! My copy of this burned in a house fire years ago and I thought I'd never hear it again. Imagine my surprise and delight. I don't want to be greedy, but do you or anyone out there have his album "Elegia"? It's another fine one.
Yes I have Elegia will post it at some point in the future
