Peace Guido/Lysergicfunk
thank you!
Thank you.
This looks very juicy indeed - thanks!
Very nice indeed!
This album is to my taste, without being ingratiating, so much easier to enjoy compared to some of the stuff that Lenny White and friends did at the time.
It’s so alive; somewhat unpredictable and not really dated like some of the stuff from the 70s apart from the sound maybe, which on the other hand could be the work of some retro producer, a year or two ago and - without those endless solos by overconfident jazz rockers when, what one really wants is to groove!
Great share, thanks!
This is excellent. Thanks so much for the share Bacoso!

This is absolutely knocked-out! Harrell has become more and more appreciated / recognized over the years -- nice to hear this early material, a great recording all the way 'round. Thanks for sharing!

I missed it on evilbay some days ago. Thought it was recorded in '81.

superb, thanks bacoso.
whoah. never seen this one. thank you for sharing. great lineup.
First heard Tom on "Paunetto's Point" (grammy nominated Latin) and also saw him at tge Vanguard with Horace.. wow he's always right.. Thanks!!!
I first encountered Tom when he was playing with Treasure Island, with Arnie Lawrence, Abdullah, Badal Roy and others. I was fortunate to have lived near the legendary Richard's Lounge in Lakewood, NJ during the seventies and spent every weekend there listening to the best of live jazz. Zamcheck, Catalyst, Treasure Island, Jack Dejohnette, so many, so many. Thanks for posting this.

thanks alot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to this.. I have heard there's some fine fender rhodes playing on this one?? Thank you again for sharing.
thanks a lot
a monument! Harrell's play is as fluid as with Azteca.
I noticed that an alternate version of the first track "on the roof" figures as a bonus on Idris Muhammad's "House of the Rising Sun" CD reissue (tr. 7 "Pipe Stem")
