Barry Miles for London from 1974.
Barry Miles-Keyboards,Vocals;Jeff Mironov,Bill Washer-Guitar;Harvie Swartz-Bass;Terry Silverlight-Drums;Jimmy Maelen,Tony Pagano-Percussion.
So you like your fusion, right? You want impossible time signatures, super speed sambas, explosive all over the kit drumming, mini moogs and the occasional hokey vocal cut?Best you snag this one fast!
"Los Viajeros" is the bomb on this solid album of banging fusion...well ,solid if you take the two numbers out where Barry's tonsils are let loose! An enjoyable romp none the less but don't say I didn't warn you about the mini moogs!!!
Ripped from the original vinyl @320-no reissues.

thanks for the warning bacoso. I will listen with my finger next to the 'pause' button, ready to stop when the mini moogs get too much!
Picked up a second hand copy of this a few months ago after hearing some of his stuff on Mainstream Records. Agreed the vocals are not the best.
Always great to hear more Barry Miles, thanks!
vocals aren't that great but its the rarity that counts?
thanks yoooooo
thanks
What a great keyboardist/pianist. Amazing album."Los Viajeros" is certainly a stand out track but all the tracks are excellent. More Funk Fusion that Jazz Rock or other fusion. If you love George duke this is a must. Thanks Bascoe, Do you have any other albums by Barry miles
Sounds great! Bacoso, you are a legend!
I echo what Fritz the Cat said--only I will be skipping over the "hokey vocal cuts!" Thanks for the share.
Very nice indeed. You have just made my day. Thankyou very much.
Ha ha. Minimoog? Impossible Time signatures? (which can maintain a groove?). Sounds like my kinda shiiiiiaaaaat. Let's hear what Barry Miles has to say. (didn't know him- thanks for this)
GeeeFlat
Ok... The DO need to chill out indeed. Potentially one of the excesses I was talking about: the obsession with speed :)
